- "Look upon this omen and go back from whence ye came! I have warned thee! I have warned thee."
- ―Abel
Abel was a character in the film Friday the 13th Part III. Apparently homeless and a religious zealot, Abel was prone to wandering around Crystal Lake preaching his messages of doom.
Biography
In the summer of 1984, Abel, while traveling through Crystal Lake, finds a mutilated eyeball and other body parts. Taking this to be a message, Abel takes the eye and sometime later falls asleep in the middle of the road.[1]
Abel was eventually found and woken up by Chris Higgins and her friends, who nearly run him over. Thanking them for waking him, Abel reveals the eye he had found to the group, disgusting them. As Abel begins to shout about how Chris and her friends should go back from whence they came, Chris's group run back to their van and drive off, leaving Abel yelling about how they are doomed if they continue onward. He is the only doomsayer to not be murdered by Jason Voorhees.[1]
