Deputy Goodman is a minor character in Freddy vs. Jason and one of the people who knows about Freddy Krueger and his history.
He is played by Alistair Abell.
His Story[]
It's unknown how he knows Freddy or became a Deputy, but we do know that he and the people of Springwood beat Freddy long time ago which it has been 4 years of peace until in 2003.
Goodman was a deputy who worked for the Springwood County Sheriff's Department in Springwood, Ohio.
In 2003, Deputy Goodman responded to an emergency taking place as 1428 Elm Street, a boy named Trey Cooper had been brutally murdered in the house. Upon being at the scene, he questioned Sheriff Williams if the incident had anything to do Freddy Kruger to which Williams yelled at him telling him to speak Kruger's name to keep things the same without anything incident involving Kruger. He was then told by Williams to take the teenagers down to the police station for questioning. One of the residents of the house, Lori Campbell, who was brought down to the police station for questioning. After Goodman took her to the station, Sheriff Williams confused Lori by asking her questions about her dreams.
The following evening, a maniac armed with a machete and wearing a hockey mask began slaughtering teens at a party being held in a corn field. After the massacre, the police were going over the crime scene photographs. Goodman asked Williams again if the murder was done by Freddy Kruger to which Williams told him not to say his name in fear of Kruger coming back. One of Goodman's colleagues a newly hired deputy out-of-towner named Scott Stubbs overheard this and tried to ask Sheriff Williams about Freddy Krueger, but he warned him against pursuing such a line of questioning.
