Lana Ardsley was a character in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.
Biography
Lana was a waitress who works in a restaurant at Pinehurst. While she is working, Billy Macauley, her boyfriend, drives to the restaurant and asks her out on a date. She accepts, but says she needs to finish cleaning first. She goes inside and finishes cleaning. Lana goes into the bathroom, unzips her work uniform, and shouts “IT'S SHOWTIME!” While she proceeds to change and put on her makeup, she hears a sound in the diner, but doesn't see anything. She finishes changing and, as she's beginning to leave, is startled by a cat. Billy tells Lana to hurry, but is immediately killed. Lana exits, letting the cat go outside, and closes up the restaurant. She runs into Billy's empty car and yells for him, but receives no answer. She notices coke on the floor and reaches for it, stating "You're going to waste a lot of money this way, smarty. Oh well, this means more for me." She looks through Billy's open car door and sees a figure's feet, with a bloody axe in one hand. She yells for Billy as she struggles to exit the car. She manages to get out, but is immediately axed in the chest and falls to the ground, dead.
Trivia
- In the beta version, the axe was shown being hit into her abdomen on-screen. It was censored by the request of the MMPA.
