Malcolm Jarvis is Trish and Tommy Jarvis's father who never appeared in the movies. He was mentioned in Friday the 13th: the Game as having unknowingly been widowered on account of Jason Voorhees, and at the time he had been vacationing. The authorities mention trying to inform him of Tracy's death, but he was staying at a resort in a country in the Caribbean Basin, which had just been hit by a hurricane. As a result, the phone lines are down.
