Never Hike Alone is a Friday the 13th fan film created by Womp Stomp Films. It was released on October 13, 2017 on YouTube and has since gained over a million views.
The fan film is about Kyle McLeod, a hiker who, during a solo backpacking trip, discovers the long lost remains of Camp Crystal Lake. However, as he explores around the area, he soon realizes he's not alone.
Plot
A hiker named Kyle McLeod runs through the woods and run into the remains of recreational camp Crystal Lake, the camp as we all know is the home for the Friday the 13th movies throughout the years. Apparently Jason still resides there as the hiker soon discovers. Kyle, after his encounter with Jason, runs through the woods until stumbling upon a sign, hurting his leg really bad. He gets back to the camp to grab a medikit. After finding him, Kyle sews the wound, hiding from Jason. Eventually, Jason finds him and Kyle runs until being reached by Jason. Both are hurt by each other's weapon, Kyle with a machete in the gut and Jason with a hatchet in the neck. Finally, Kyle manages to escape until the next day, Jason kills him by crushing his skull with his bare hands. It turns out to be a hallucination, because Kyle is safe in front of two paramedics: Axel and Deni. Then a third one appears, Tommy Jarvis. After Tommy is pulled from the truck, Axel tries to find him, only for Jason to kill him by axing him in the stomach, before Jason murders Deni by ramming her head repeatedly against the side of the ambulance. Just before Jason kills Kyle, Tommy drives with the ambulance, escaping from Jason.
