Plot
A man named Mark Hill is running through a snowy forest, trying to find his car, before Jason steps out from behind a tree and uses a bow to shoot an arrow through the back of Mark's leg. Jason brutally murders Mark by swinging an ax into his mouth and then dragging his body away. Sheriff Rick Cologne and Deputy Allen Mabry find the blood in the snow. Cologne goes to comfort Mark's mom, Diana, while Mabry stays to clean up the crime scene. Cologne looks through Mark's room and finds coordinates for Camp Crystal Lake, where he arrests Tommy Jarvis, who broke in trying to find Jason. Mabry disobeys Cologne and is lured into one of the shacks by Jason, where Mabry finds Mark's frozen corpse, before Jason violently kills him by blasting his head off with his own shotgun while it was still in his hand.
