New Jersey is a state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. It is bordered on the north and east by the state of New York; on the east, southeast, and south by the Atlantic Ocean; on the west by the Delaware River and Pennsylvania; on the southwest by Delaware Bay and the state of Delaware. It is the main state that most events in the Friday the 13th franchise take place.

Biography
New Jersey is one of the United States most prominent and infamous states of all time. It dominates alongside New York as 1 out of 3 best states to live in. In the summer of 1957, In one of if not the state's most infamous incident, a young 11-year-old Jason Voorhees drowned and "died" in the state's most infamous summer camp, Camp Crystal Lake. This event would set off a chain of events that would forever change New Jersey over the course of 5 decades.
