Ryan Dallion is a character in the TV series Friday the 13th: The Series, in which he is played by John D. LeMay.

Biography

Ryan is the enthusiastic, handsome co-inheritor of the Curious Goods antique store. He is a comic book fanatic and he obviously has a crush on Micki Foster (a crush that continues on through the series). He is excited about fixing up the store and has a strong sense of duty throughout the show as he works with Micki and Jack Marshak. At first, Micki and Ryan's relationship is based on sarcastic comments, but they grow to be very special to each other.

Ryan's last name, a puzzle to most, was first pronounced "Da Leeon", with a French accent, by Micki. Ryan corrected her with "Da Lion", and uses that pronunciation for a few episodes, but as he matures, he pronounces it to rhyme with "medallion."

His father, Ray, was an inventor, who nearly killed Micki, but when Ryan tried to sacrifice himself in Micki's place, guilt took over and Ray killed himself ("Pipe Dream"). Ryan's relationship with his dad was not a good one. His brother Jimmy died at age 7-8 (Ryan was 9), and his mother ran out on them shortly after ("Scarecrow", "The Prophecies"). She returned just before Ryan went to France with Micki, after which he returned as a child, leading to his departure from the show.
